Yes. I have volunteered at multiple music festivals over the past decade. Euphoria, Day for Night, Sonic Bloom, Arise, Lightning in a Bottle, Lucidity, Jazz Fest, the list goes on. I’ve participated in a variety of roles from being a runner, on to making pizzas and green team. I’ve also worked extensively with the permaculture action network doing workshop hubs and action days in partnership with music festivals and touring artists.
I have experience in hospitality. I also keep a first aid kit around, but I don’t have any qualifications in first aid. I generally have experience with set up and tear down of music festivals and workshop spaces. I speak some French.
I’m open to anything and everything.
I’ve done flyering and been a part of festivals promo teams before. I think making some good flyers, stickers, QR codes as well as virtual flyers/promo could be helpful. Also having food and beverages in the web3 zone would be helpful as far as hospitality and attracting folks to the space. Especially Yerba mate as well as sparkling water and whatever food and beverages we can get access to. Maybe some cool bean bags, inflatable things, and games like blow up beach volleyball or something. People also like board games and cards. Just some ideas. The location of the web3 zone is also a factor.
This festival sounds like an amazing overall experience that I would like to be a part of. When my cousin Willy mentioned that there are volunteer opportunities within the crypto industry, I had to jump on it. I see crypto as a way to duck the system and move away from fiat currency while maintaining privacy. Crypto is doing really well right now, so that helps people be a little more enthusiastic about it too. I’m always looking to learn more about crypto and blockchain technology, as well as mingle with people. The combination of this with a music festival is too good to pass up.
I say hip hop because hip hop encompasses every genre through sampling. I like acoustic, I like electronic. Everything from folk punk to drum and bass. I’m a big G jones fan. I like Peter Tosh, khrungbin, toro y moi, aphex twin, flying lotus, nirvana, floating points, Sudan archives, Gus dapperton, Tycho, vulfpeck, flowdan, tipper, mark farina, Seth troxler, all:lo collective, attya, chmura, eprom, ivy lab, Monty, daily bread.

I would prefer to work pre festival and post festival, but I am flexible and can do whatever needs to be done. I don’t have a job right now.
